Liddy Clark | “sorry mom and dad”

Liddy Clark is an up and coming Nashville singer/songwriter. She has performed at iconic venues like the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville and opened for artists like Scotty McCreery and Joe Nichols. We have previously reviewed Liddy’s hit single, “Hit and Run,” “Your Ghost,” and even did an interview with her here. We recently had the chance to review her previous Christmas single, “Do You Hear What I Hear?”. Now she is back with a new song “sorry mom and dad.”

This song is much different than her previous releases. It is always interesting when an artist shuffles things up and reveals a different aspect to their artistry. That is what Liddy did here. This new release is an apology song to her mom and dad, while also throwing in some humor as well. Lyrically, the song is on point. Her songwriting is pretty captivating and always seem to tell a story that everyone wants to hear. Her voice is still stunning, just like in her previous releases. All in all, this is a solid release by a very promising Nashville artist. Make sure to check out, “sorry mom and dad,” on all major streaming platforms.
