We are back with some new music for our Wild Wednesday. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Meg Mac | “Letter”
Meg Mac just released her latest single, “Letter.” It is a beautifully emotional track that focuses on her powerful vocals. It is refreshing to hear her vocals at the forefront of this track. She does a great job at showing off her range, all while keeping up with the story of the song. Such an impressive vocal performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
The Southern Gothic | “Straight Up”
We don’t usually put covers on the site, but we had to make an exception when we heard The Southern Gothic’s version of Paul Abdul’s hit, “Straight Up.” Everything about this cover is on point. The instrumentals are energetic and do a great job at setting up the vocals in the forefront. Vocally, it is impressive. It is a difficult task to make a well known song your own, but The Southern Gothic has done that here. All in all, this is an impressive cover that deserves to be heard and added to your playlists.
KASIA feat. LyveNDireckT | “Royal Tears”
KASIA teamed up with LyveNDireckT for a contagious new single, “Royal Tears.” The new track is well done. The vocals are good but the standout here is the backing track and different production effects that are being used. Although the vocals aren’t in the forefront of the track, it still benefits from the atmospheric energy that is presented through its production. “Royal Tears,” is definitely a vibey song. This new track needs to be added to your playlists.
