Turntable Tuesday

We are back with our first Turntable Tuesday of August. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!

Drew Schueler | “Lost Without You”

Drew Schueler is a master at creating unique yet familiar songs full of vibrant vocals and melodies, electro-pop synth textures, electric guitar and programmed beats, similar to Lauv, Justin Bieber, and LANY. We have previously featured Drew and now he is back with a new track, “Lost Without You.” This song features his vocals more than his previous releases. He has such a strong voice and it is refreshing to hear it at the forefront of the song. The way he goes from his chest voice, to his head voice is impressive too. Drew is one of those artists that you need to watch out for. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

S-X | “His Problem Now”

S-X just released a new track, “His Problem Now.” This is a really well done single. The instrumentals are compelling and pair well with his vocals. Vocally, it is a strong performance that deserves to be on your playlists. His range is seriously impressive. A lot of people are going to relate to this song, especially if you are just getting out of a relationship. Make sure to give this one a listen.

Alec Chambers | “Ed Sheeran’s A Dick”

Alec Chambers, a 27-year-old singer songwriter from Connecticut seamlessly blends authentic vocals and tasteful rasp with bedroom instrumentation to create a signature sound that his dedicated and fast-growing audience knows and loves.  Chamber’s just released a new TikTok motivated track, “Ed Sheeran’s A Dick.” The new track is really well done. The instrumentals are strong and force Alec’s vocals to the forefront of the song, which is great, considering how smooth his voice is. All in all, it is a cool song that deserves to be added to your playlists.

Bre Kennedy just released a new track, “Ribbon.” First off, her voice is absolutely stunning. She has one of those voices that just cuts through your heart and makes you want to keep listening to her. Very reminiscent of Ingrid Michaelson, which is a huge compliment. All in all, this is a strong song that you will be playing on repeat. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
