Joey Green Releases New Album

Joey Green

Singer/Songwriter Joey Green released his new album. We have picked 3 Singles off of the new album to review. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!

Texas area native and Nashville transplant, recently known for his success on NBC’s The Voice, Joey Green has become a household name in Texas for his rock ‘n’ roll to soul country rollercoaster ride of a live show. He considers his genre post-Americana – a mix of Americana, rock and country. During an interview with Media Hub, he described it as “Americana with a pop sensibility, story songs with banger hooks.”

Green has toured or performed with national acts, including the Eli Young Band, Stoney LaRue, Kevin Fowler, Sean McConnell, Sam Riggs, and Randy Rogers. For the past several years, he’s been part of an international tour in London, Australia and Mexico called the Texas Music Takeover with other well-known Texas artists, Pat Green, Cody Canada, Wade Bowen, Vaden Todd Lewis (The Toadies), Sara Jaffe, Josh Abbott, Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum, Brandon Rhyder, Mike Ryan, Casey Donahew, Jason Boland, Luke Wade, Shane Smith, Austin Allsup, William Clark Green, Jonathan Terrell, Kylie Rae Harris, Roger Creager, Eric Middleton, and many more. Below are the three singles that he just released.

This House Ain’t Big Enough

First up is, “This House Ain’t Big Enough.” This is a slowed down Country jam which brings the listeners in and delivers the story behind the song. His voice is very strong which is evident throughout the track. He does a great job at capturing the emotion of the song and relaying that to his listeners. Definitely a standout off of the new collection.

S.A.F.T.B

His voice is at the forefront of “S.A.F.T.B.” This one has as low burn to it but really picks up into the first verse and pre-chorus. The cool thing with Country Music is that when its good, it tells a story. This one does just that. Such a cool song with a super catchy chorus.

Puttin’ It Out There

The title track, “Puttin’ It Out There,” is last on this list. This one has a good blend of modern country with some 90’s influences. The instrumentals are a bit heavier in this track, which is evident from the start. His voice really stands out in this one, which is a great thing, considering how unique his vocals are. This one is also really catchy and could easily be on Country Radio. Make sure to add all of these tracks to your playlists.
