In 2017, Sierra Annie’s debut single, “Famous” began receiving airplay on local radio, and gained national attention on major streaming platforms. After making the move to Nashville, she has shared stages with Kane Brown, Brett Eldredge, RaeLynn, Russel Dickerson, Midland and more. Her most streamed song on Spotify is “Famous,” which has over 170,000 streams on that platform alone.
Sierra Annie is back with her single, “Bad Day.” This song is about finding the positive in every day struggles. It is about having a bad day, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t get through it. “It’s just a bad day, and a good life.” This lyric perfectly showcases what this song has to offer. My favorite part of this song is that it tells a story that should be heard. Her voice sounds so effortless and smooth in this track. She really has a Miranda Lambert vibe as well. The instrumentals are very creative and flow well with her vocals.
Here is what Sierra Annie had to say about her new single, “Bad Day.” “Bad Day means so much to me because it encourages self-love, despite being imperfect. It encourages gratitude, despite maybe not having everything you want, but focusing on everything you do have, I’m so excited for the world to hear Bad Day because there’s so much uncertainty and division in the world right now, but at the end of the day, we are all just humans trying to figure it all out.
All in all, this is a solid release from an up and coming Nashville artist. She proves in this single, that she is a force to be reckoned with and is ready to take on Nashville.
