Alika Arlynn is from a suburb of Chicago, IL. Right off the bat, I want to say how fun this song is. Seriously, this is a catchy tune. The vocals are very strong and super clean. The melody is infectious too. I could see this one being a crowd favorite at one of her concerts. At the time of this review, I am on my 9th listen of this song. It is just as catchy as the first time I listened to it. No, this song is not just for the ladies, even though the title suggests otherwise. This song is for all country music fans. My favorite part of the song is the breakdown of just vocals, guitar and drums towards the end of the song. You can really tell who her inspirations are in this song. I am getting hints of Carrie Underwood and even some Kelsea Ballerini in her music. All in all, this is a strong release from a promising artist. Make sure you catch one of her shows when she comes through Nashville.
