Kenzie Wheeler | “Dear Country”
Kenzie Wheeler, a seventh-generation Floridian hailing from Dover, has always had a passion for country music. As a young boy, he fondly recalls singing along to the radio with his parents during truck rides. Kenzie’s singing career began in 2013, when he sang karaoke as a high school sophomore. By 2016, Kenzie won the first Tampa Teen Idol competition as a senior and had the opportunity to open for Michael Ray, Charlie Daniels, and Craig Campbell. Two years later, Kenzie released his first album, aptly titled “Dover,” which features his favorite tracks such as “Got Her Goodbye On,” “Stronger Than Whiskey,” and “Fall Into Me.” Recently, Kenzie gained recognition as the runner-up on season 20 of NBC’s The Voice. He just released a new track, “Dear Country.” The new track is really well done. It has the 90’s vibe that is much needed in Country Music nowadays. His vocals are front and center, which is smart, considering how strong his voice is. Definitely a standout performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Kayden McCarthy | “Too Much”
Kayden McCarthy was born on the New Jersey coast, but it was the city of Amsterdam, NL where he spent most of his childhood and began his musical journey. After relocating to central Illinois and eventually settling in Chicago, it became clear to Kayden that music was going to play a significant role in his life. He draws inspiration from late 90’s rock ‘n’ roll, early 2000’s hip hop, and modern-day electro pop, which contribute to his unique sound. Kayden’s versatility ranges from crafting soft house beats to strumming his acoustic guitar. We have previously featured him multiple times, and he is now back with his latest release, “Too Much.” This track is a true masterpiece, with incredible instrumentals and a melody that stands out. His captivating voice is one of my favorites in recent memory and has a unique ability to hold the listener spellbound. You’ll find yourself entranced in the music and wanting to listen to it over and over again. Don’t miss out on this one – make sure to add it to your playlists.
Gyo Kretz | “Clown”
Gyo Kretz, a singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Amsterdam, blends electric guitars, synths, drum samples, and an R&B-inspired falsetto to create unique indie-pop tracks. Gyo’s music draws comparisons to artists such as James Bay, Tom Walker, and John Mayer, but with a slightly more electronic vibe. His songs vary from open and honest to dreamy and somber, all of which stem from the heart. He recently released a new track, “Clown.” The track is absolutely stunning, with mesmerizing instrumentals that blend perfectly with the vocals. Gyo Kretz possesses one of those rare voices that takes the listener on a transcendent journey throughout the entire song. The track is masterfully crafted and deserves a spot on your playlists.
