Hayley Warner | “Breakups Ain’t Goodbye”
Australian singer-songwriter, Hayley Warner had hopes of becoming a professional athlete as a child, until being diagnosed with a rare disease and told she’d never walk again. She defied the odds when a secondhand drum set became her means of physical therapy and helped her to gain movement back in her legs. She not only began learning to walk again, but propelled into the start of her musical career, picking up guitar + piano and learning to write. She has since released her debut single, “Closure”, which has independently amassed upward of 12 Million streams, finding it’s way to Spotify’s “Viral Hits” and “Life Sucks”, as well as gaining the attention of a number of fellow artists. She just released a new track, “Breakups Ain’t Goodbye.” What an incredible performance. The instrumentals are very minimal and really put a focus on her vocals. She has one of those voices that tells a story that you want to hear over and over. Absolutely stunning. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
RENEE | “Algo Bien”
RENEE just released a new track, “Algo Bien.” This is such a cool track. The instrumentals are compelling and pair well with her vocals. She has such a strong voice that just soars throughout the entirety of the song. Production is also on point. All in all, it is a strong performance that deserves to be added to your playlists. Check it out.
3uki | “Back to Me”
Lukas Kwoczek, better known as 3uki (pronounced three-you-key) is one of the artists who can be characterised as ‘100% natural’. Slamming the keys on his dad’s electric piano well before he could talk, Kwoczek learnt to play drums at a preschool music group and spent 11 years in gruelling classical piano lessons until a school friend introduced him to David Guetta and Avicii. Inspired by the DIY spirit of Martin Garrix, who had produced the chartbusting track ‘Animals’ in his bedroom, Kwoczek equipped himself with YouTube tutorials and Cubase Lite he got off his piano teacher. Not long after that Kwoczek self-released his first single as 3uki titled ‘Never Let You Go’ featuring Lissie, a former classmate with whom he used to accompany with piano during breaks. His first major hit ‘Lose Control’ feat. Micah Martin came out in 2017, a track with over 1.5 million streams to date. Now, he just released a new track, “Back to Me.” This song has a retro feel to it, which is perfect for his vocals. He has a powerful voice that is complimented by the backing track/instrumentals. Production is top notch as well. What a way to end out Wild Wednesday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
