Darius Rucker Announces New Album
Darius Rucker has exciting news to share—the release of his first solo album in six years, titled “Carolyn’s Boy,” scheduled for October 6. Alongside this announcement, he revealed the 14-song tracklist for the album. This project holds special significance as it serves as a heartfelt tribute to his late mother.
In a touching gesture, Rucker unveiled the news on Friday, emphasizing the emotional connection that this album has to his personal journey and his mother’s memory. “Carolyn’s Boy” is undoubtedly anticipated to offer a deeply personal and meaningful musical experience for both Rucker and his fans alike.
When questioned about the timing of the nod to his mom, Rucker looked back on his journey and admitted, “Years ago, I wasn’t quite certain about my place in Country music, and I was in search of it. But now, I’ve discovered it, and I believe it’s time to acknowledge that achievement.”
