We are back with some new releases for New Release Friday – Side A. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Kid Travis | “Nothing to Do (Deja Vu)”
Kid Travis just released a new single, “Nothing to Do.” This is such an upbeat song that begins with the energy and never lets up. The backing track is really compelling and compliment his vocals completely. His voice is so smooth and he gets to showcase it throughout the track. Definitely one of the stronger ones this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Two Ways Home | “Polaroid Kids”
We have previously featured, Two Ways Home on the site. They are back with a new track, “Polaroid Kids.” This is such a good song. The instrumentals are really well done. The standout here are the vocals. Vocally, it is a strong performance. Those harmonies are on point as well. All in all, it is a strong song that deserves to be heard. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Francisco Martin | “hate you to love myself”
We have featured Francisco Martin a few times on Music On The Rox. He is back with a new track, “hate you to love myself.” In our previous reviews, we have pointed out how great his vocals are. This one is even better than his previous ones. His voice is so smooth but also very energetic at the same time. He does a great job at showcasing his vocals, all while capturing the emotion of the song. He is such a talented artist that deserves all of the streams. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Ryan Keen | “Wishing Well”
Ryan Keen is back with a new track, “Wishing Well.” I love how minimalistic this song is. The instrumentals are subtle and give his voice a chance to shine. That is exactly what happens in this track. He has a unique voice that is captivating. So much emotion in his vocals that just grabs you by your heart strings and doesn’t let go. Make sure to add this one to your playlists too.
Jax | “Victoria’s Secret”
Jax just released her new single, “Victoria’s Secret.” This is such an intense song that is very deceptive off the get go. You think its going to be a slowed down jam that is pretty low key. Then the beat drops and all hell breaks loose. Such a cool track with a super catchy chorus. Seriously, I have been singing this since I received it. It has more of a punk/pop-rock vibe to it, which is smart because it compliments her vocals completely. Definitely one that should be added to your playlists.
