We are back with our New Release Friday. Check out the new tracks and reviews below!
noelle | “Cold Killer”
The new single from, noelle, “Cold Killer,” is out now! This is such an energetic track. I absolutely love the 80’s influenced instrumentals. This is also very reminiscent of Dua Lipa, which is a huge compliment. The vocals are incredible. She has a way of playing with her vocal abilities, all while never losing the energy of the track. A strong way to start off our New Release Friday. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Banners | “Perfectly Broken”
Banners just released a new track, “Perfectly Broken.” If you want a track to get you into your feels, look no further. This is more of an acoustic piano track, which puts his vocals at the forefront of the track. This is perfect, considering how strong his voice is. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Zach Hood | “when she was mine”
Zach Hood just released a new track, “When She Was Mine.” What an absolutely beautifully heartbreaking song. The backing track/instrumentals are really compelling and compliment his vocals completely. This song really puts Zach’s voice in the forefront, which pays off completely. Such an energetic track which also focuses on his vocals too. He has such a great voice and it is refreshing that we get to hear it in full force. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Jenny Kern | “I Need You”
A Canadian born Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter with a dreamy indie pop sound, Jenny Kern’s magnetic vocal style and emotive lyricism gained global attention in 2019 after the release of her debut single “Slow Burn”. She was immediately invited on her first international tour in Europe and featured on MTV, ABC and the CW. She is back with a new track, “I Need You.” This song is more of a slow burn, which is perfect for the tone of her voice. The new track has more of a darker/deeper vibe. This pairs perfectly with her vocals. She has such a strong voice and it almost demands your attention. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Atli | “Waterfalls”
Atli just released a new track, “Waterfalls.” He has one of my favorite voices that I have heard in recent memory. The instrumentals are well done but those vocals are something else. He has one of those voices that you just want to hear more of. Absolutely stunning vocal performance. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Lane Norberg | “Haunted”
Lane Norberg is a singer-songwriter from Portland, OR. Growing up in Montana, he took lessons learning to play piano and drums, but didn’t begin playing the guitar or singing until college. He just released a new track, “Haunted.” This is such a great song. The instrumentals are well done. Lane really killed it with the vocals though. This indie/folk sound really works with his voice. His tone and power is something that can’t be taught. An awesome performance that deserves to be added to your playlists. Check it out.
The Satellite Station | “Slow”
The Satellite Station is the moniker of singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Travis Rue. Known for his haunting folk-inspired melodies and emotionally deep lyrics, Rue’s storytelling shares his perspective on life and the challenges and joys of being human. The new single, “Slow,” is really well done. The instrumentals are beautiful but the real standout here is his vocals. His voice grabs all of your emotions and never lets you go. Such a great vocal performance that deserves to be added to your playlists.
KID TRAVIS | “I LIVE WITH GHOSTS”
We have featured KID TRAVIS quite a few times. He is back with a new track, “I LIVE WITH GHOSTS.” This song is definitely a vibe. This one is super energetic and puts his vocals on full display. He has such a great voice, which is evident by his vocal runs and power. Such a cool vibe, just in time for Halloween. Make sure to give this one an add to your playlists.
