It is New Release Friday! That means a ton of new releases today. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Joe McMurray | “First Smile” – PREMIERE
Joe McMurray just released, “First Smile.” This is a beautiful instrumental that deserves your attention. This is so well done and has a super strong melody and a lush sound. It is also really cool that it was recorded on a single instrument. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
The Wrecks | “Sonder”
The Wrecks just released their new album, “Sonder.” We have decided to review the title track. This is a powerhouse indie/ pop rock song. This is such an infectious track and another one of my favorites. The instrumentals are really well done and compliment the vocals completely. They do a great job at keeping up the energy of the track, but also allow the vocals to be pushed to the limits. This is a really awesome song and should be added to your playlists.
BLOODHONEY | “To The Moon”
BLOODHONEY just released a new track, “To The Moon.” Just a forewarning, this is probably one of my favorite songs that I have reviewed in a while. I love the indie/pop rock vibe of the song. The instrumentals are insanely well done. The vocals are really strong too. They do a great job at complimenting each other and just letting the vocals soar. He has such a great voice, so it is cool to hear it in its natural element. Definitely give this one a listen and add it to your playlists.
Bridget Rian | “new hampshire”
We have featured Bridget Rian a couple times and now she is back with a new track, “new hampshire.” This one has a more laid back, California pop vibe, which is super compelling. The instrumentals give it that indie beach sound which pair well with her voice. She does a great job at telling the story of the song, all while keeping up the energy. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Zach Paradis | “Now I Know”
Zach Paradis just released, “Now I Know.” First off, how in the world can a whistle be so damn catchy? That is exactly what happens right before the chorus. Super catchy and a really smart decision. The melody of the song is infectious and pairs well with his voice. He has such a great voice so it is really cool to hear all of the different aspects of it. From his chest voice, to his head voice, he manages to throw everything at you. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
